Pin Drop Travel Trailers Celebrates 5 Years of TearDrop-Style Trailer Manufacturing

Updated: Aug 20, 2023

This fall, Pin Drop Travel Trailers will celebrate 5 years of manufacturing the finest tear drop style travel trailers on the market. With features unlike others including the solar powered and untethered design, super insulation, intentional functionality, and gear storage options, you can go farther and stay out longer.

The Pin Drop founder, Tim Elinski, comes from a family of tradesmen, has been a tradesman himself for over 25 years, and currently holds a general contractor's and HVAC contractor's license. His long history in building, finish carpentry, historic restoration, new construction, and remodels prepared him for designing and fabricating Pin Drops: a teardrop style micro camper with all the common conveniences and comforts of home constructed in a tight, tiny shell made for off road travel, off grid living, or your favorite campground.

With Tim as the foundation of Pin Drop's intentional design, Pin Drop has seen incredible growth in just 5 years. He and his team have dialed in the Pin Drop design for increased functionality and nimbleness, strengthened a growing customer base, supported community events and local non profits, and built strong partnerships with other manufacturers, trade organizations, and gear associations.

Recharge Your Wonder

The Pin Drop vision is to Recharge Your Wonder. The Pin Drop Team works to inspire exploration of the outdoors, respect for nature, and responsible recreation, all while utilizing a small carbon footprint. We believe in the Leave No Trace philosophy, and that is where Pin Drops truly stand out.

It’s true, Pindrops are full of conveniences, but the core philosophy is that you should be able to enjoy the outdoors without negatively impacting it. Solar powered and nimble, Pin Drop trailers can go a little farther than the crowds but won't tear up the countryside getting there.

Pin Drop micro campers are built for longevity with quality raw materials and domestic products, along with using tried and true construction methods and design. Each Pin Drop is plug and play ready meaning any upgrade we offer can be added at any time to suit your next adventure or the changing season. Would you prefer a chest refrigerator over the Canyon Cooler? Do you want bike racks in addition to your kayak racks? Do you want a solar shower or extra fresh water storage? Do you need an extra solar panel for lengthy stays off grid? All of these options are available ongoing after your initial purchase and can be added easily when you are ready or in need of extra options.

The teardrop style has been adored for generations as a light weight, easy to maneuver, and classic travel trailer design, and we build Pindrops to carry on that tradition.

Community Events and Non Profits

As part of the Pin Drop company core values, the Pin Drop Team continues to support local events and non profit organizations in a variety of ways and at different times of the year. Pin Drop is an active member of the Globe-Miami Chamber of Commerce and Local First Arizona.
